For Students
InnovaXN, an EU Doctoral Programme for innovators, is a training programme that provides an exceptional opportunity for 40 PhD students. The research training will be driven by pre-competitive R&D exploiting synchrotron X-rays and neutrons, in close collaboration with an industrial partner for each PhD project.
The objective of InnovaXN is to offer an international, inter-disciplinary and inter-sectoral training programme for the research students: training-through-research as well as hands-on training on transferable skills. The InnovaXN programme duration is 60 months and will comprise two calls, each recruiting 20 students. Most students are expected to work on projects using both synchrotron X-rays and neutrons, providing valuable interdisciplinary research and exploiting ESRF and ILL complementarity for innovation.
